Metal fencing for the yard and cast iron urn planters are the sites specialty. You will also find wrought iron trellises, arbors, and decorative containers for growing all types of flowers and vines.

Tiptop Trellises

A trellis is a framework most frequently constructed for support of a climbing plant or plants such as sweet peas, ivy, or grapevines. Different trellises are available for an assortment of appropriate plants and locations.  A trellis attached to the roof or exterior structure of a house can also be known as an arbor or pergola.

While a wrought iron trellis or other metal model is very striking and often come in ornate designs, they may not be the best choice for vining plants.  The sun can cause the metal to become very hot and stunt plant growth. For tender plants that are incapable of resisting cold–such as sweet peas, beans, and morning glory–a wood trellis can prove much more beneficial.

High Expectations

Whether to choose a small garden topiary or a large one. Experience tells me to have high expectations in the garden. Just a little bit of the right elements and your flowers and vines will flourish. Enriched soil, water, and fertilizer will do the trick.

Many times the larger size is just a few dollars more. Seeing the perfect wrought iron obelisk standing in your flower garden is a eye catcher during the summer or during the off season for interest when your plantings are dormant.

Good Reason to Choose Lawn Ornaments

Lawn ornaments can function for several different uses. Looking Good is one of my top priorities for the garden decor that I use in my landscape. No doubt that these three topiaries fit that criteria.

Strong, stable structures would be another. We want our investments to last for a number of years.

Size is also important. I always recommend that my customers purchase a large size. Don’t underestimate your ability to grow vigorous flowers and vines.

Economics is very important these days. Finding all these important attributes is easy at A Rustic Garden.

tregaOur customers choose wrought iron trellises to carry their climbing vines and flowers. This time of year many are wishing they had picked larger examples since their climbers are maturing with the August sunny days.

Our handmade welded steel products are made to last for years.  This trellis is a nice large size but still ships reasonable. The stylish cast iron finials take it from structural to unique metal garden art.

Gardens here in the Midwest and all across the United States are in full swing with with August just around the corner. The flowers and vines have been growing long enough to need good support and wrought iron garden topiariestop and trellises are an excellent choice. The welded steel is bent into decorative spins and many times cast iron finials add stylish accents.

Rustic metal or painted iron work is popular and most of A Rustic Gardens garden decor is hand made. Be sure and pick a large topiary, trellis or arbor to accommodate future plant growth. Many perennials take three years of growth become an adult plant and can continue to expand for years.
