stepping-stones

Now that summer is in full swing, most gardeners are putting their green thumbs to work on a daily basis. A gorgeous garden requires diligent work – all that weeding, pruning and planting eventually pays off in unsurpassed visual splendor. But sometimes, despite a gardener’s best efforts, a garden can come off looking a bit disorganized.

Stepping stones act as a simple guide for visitors. They can be positioned in such a way that the eye naturally follows them from plant to plant, admiring the whole of the scenery rather than getting lost in the shuffle. Many gardeners underestimate the importance of uniting their flowers behind a cohesive theme. Stepping stones are just the thing to provide your blooms with a sense of inviting harmony.

The lodge look is a popular decorating style and craftsmen are still carrying on the tradition of constructing furniture using logs and twigs . This coffee table is built well and strong for everyday use.

I have owned many pieces of antique furniture and most were twig stands that were handmade during the 1920’s and 1930’s. Primitive  Country style decorating will never go out of fashion.
