My niece was moving and needed to put her dog in a safe place for a couple days during all the confusion. In just 15 minutes they set up this wrought iron fencing for their dog. We carry rod iron fence in 3′, 4′ and 5′ tall sections that just pushes into the ground. This style is 4′ tall and we have 3 different gates to coordinate with each height and fit your needs.

This fencing is so versatile that it can be moved as your garden changes over time. The investment now will always be a good one. 4fencing

The Path to Garden Organization

stepping-stones

Now that summer is in full swing, most gardeners are putting their green thumbs to work on a daily basis. A gorgeous garden requires diligent work – all that weeding, pruning and planting eventually pays off in unsurpassed visual splendor. But sometimes, despite a gardener’s best efforts, a garden can come off looking a bit disorganized.

Stepping stones act as a simple guide for visitors. They can be positioned in such a way that the eye naturally follows them from plant to plant, admiring the whole of the scenery rather than getting lost in the shuffle. Many gardeners underestimate the importance of uniting their flowers behind a cohesive theme. Stepping stones are just the thing to provide your blooms with a sense of inviting harmony.

ladyThis garden statue is very large. She is so pretty and would be beautiful in front of my 1848 federal home.

This cast iron lady is about 15 years old and has a rusty finish. If she does not sell soon I just might take her home.

Decorating Your Rural Retreat

rustic-birdhousesCity life has its charms – there’s no denying that. It often means easy access to boutique stores, fine dining and cutting-edge entertainment. But the urban grind has its pitfalls as well. Safety issues, noise and overcrowding all have a tendency to convince people that perhaps the country life is more desirable after all. If you’ve recently purchased a slice of heaven in the form of a rural home, you’ll want to decorate accordingly.

Rustic birdhouses make a sensible addition to your exterior décor – they can be attached to a tree or affixed to a porch railing. As is always the case with effective accessories, these birdhouses don’t draw attention away from the centerpiece: the home itself. From a practical standpoint, you’ll be providing shelter to a few of your new neighbors. Don’t forget to watch as their young learn to fly.

Splendid Décor, Beyond a Shadow of a Doubt

garden-sundialGarden décor doesn’t need to be strictly functional – after all, the idea is to appreciate the sensory pleasures of a thriving botanical sanctuary. But most effective decorative touches can be appreciated on multiple levels: the aesthetic as well as the functional. Bird baths fall squarely into this category; many of them are designed with an artistic bent that incidentally provides a place for birds to wash.

Sundials add many of the same benefits to a garden landscape. Beyond simply keeping time by casting a telltale shadow, they work as a conversation piece. A garden sundial doesn’t retreat into the background, but it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb, either. It remains a vital part of the scenery, always there to be appreciated and enjoyed.
