Garden Arbors and arches raise up over your entryway to welcome your visitors. Of course there purpose initially is to support your climbing roses or clematis vines but they transform your landscape to a grander scale.

Many choices are available at A Rustic Garden to fit your walkway and some even have a bench for sitting a spell or gate to enclose your yard.

The forecast for middle Illinois is wonderful. The temperatures will cross over into the 70’s and everyone is ready to welcome spring and plant their garden planters. Anticipating the changing weather lifts my spirit and spring brings optimism for a prosperous year with my garden business A Rustic Garden.

During the winter months it is hard to be confident that the online customer will find us again this year on the world wide web. Google, Yahoo, Msn and a 1000 other search engines bring me to my knees for sure. With so many webs sites to place on that precious 1st page, how can I be found?

So far it seems that I will not be disappointed. March came in slow but by the 15th we were scrambling trying to find a way to process all those wrought iron fence orders. Luckily our good friend Troy Markert came to help. Here is a great big THANKS for all your help!

top1It is not always easy to ignore the weather especially in early January.  Certainly  the  computer is a great distraction  and  ordering  garden products to use  when the weather decides to cooperate  is  a  great way to get through  these  blistery  winter days.   Rustic garden decor is a fun way to plan your future outdoor living space.

Plan a secure enclosure for your children with our wrought iron fencing or a flower garden using metal arbors and unique topiaries.

If you are wanting to add fencing to your home do consider wrought iron fencefencsss. A Rustic Garden carries welded steel fencing that is made by hand in a machine shop in middle Illinois. This great product is easy to install and will last a lifetime and available in 3ft, 4ft and 5ft heights.

The best part is “THE LOOK”. Fashioned from the antique  fence that dates to the early 1900’s. The hoop and spear design is as popular today as it was 100 years ago.

Reorganizing a Familiar Garden Space

arusticgarden-gardenarborgateEarlier this year, I realized it was time to evaluate my garden. Even though I take great care to ensure that it’s overflowing with bright blooms, the overall look had grown a bit stale over the years. It needed a new method of organization – a design curveball that would inspire me keep up with my gardening. A friend suggested that I implement a garden arbor gate.

It just made sense, given that first impressions matter so much. The gate is more than just the physical entry point into the garden; it’s also the element that attracts visual attention from yards away. Whether it’s viewed close up or from a distance, the wrought-iron arbor and gate do wonders in terms of complementing my garden fence. I’m already brainstorming to ways to liven up the garden next year.
