Fencing on a wall
May 20, 2009
Many homes and properties have a retaining wall or a stone or brick wall that serves as a border. A wrought iron fence can be installed on top of a stone wall that can create an old world look that results in a functional barrier. Our wrought iron interlocking fences have stakes that anchor the fencing every 14.5″. With a hole drilled into the wall at every spot where a stake goes down and a little bit of cement, the iron fence can become a permanent fixture.
Our wrought iron fences can also be attached to a hard surface by using our 1.5″ steel posts with a cast iron shoe attached to the base. The shoe allows you to bolt the fence post down and will add stability to your entire iron fencing run.
